This page lists organizations, institutions, businesses and self-employed persons who were directly involved in the realization of the different tasks of the project “Unravelling the Fresco”, their key roles and the individuals involved.

Société historique du Madawaska (SHM)

Key roles of the Société historique du Madawaska (SHM) - applicant organization of the project: Oversee the implementation and assist in project administration; participate in the planning and implementation of project activities; provide access to the "Studio Laporte" Collection and articles in various issues of the Revue de la Société historique du Madawaska.

UMCE

Key roles of the Université de Moncton, Edmundston campus (UMCE) : Supervise the usage of archives and ensure the scientific validity of the Website content and didactic components.

Key roles of the Edmundston subgroup: Manage and administer the project; ensure quality control of the work and deliverables; digitize documents; develop and modify the Website; insert data on the Website; establish the style of promotion; organize and conduct a press conference and other promotional activities; write articles, manage the translation of texts; edit the Website’s data and texts, and its promotional tools.

Key roles of the Saint Jacques sub-group: Classify and identify documents in the commercial section of the Studio Laporte Collection; choose what to include on the Website (a little over 2,000 iconographic images); establish metadata and enter it in the database of the Website; develop information banks about buildings or sites that are or were in the Madawaska region in New Brunswick.

NordSud.org

Key roles of NordSud.org: Manage a part of the project; review the preliminary structure of the Website; monitor the work and evaluate the ease of use of the Website; write text; locate and select sources and manage the synopsis, the storyboard, the editing and the inclusion of learning objects and vignettes on the site; train teachers, support staff and students to create the vignettes; monitor and support the creation of the vignettes; handle the assessment, testing and verification of the Website; participate in promotional activities.

New Brunswick School District 3

Major Roles of New Brunswick School District 3: Facilitate the active participation of staff (principals, teachers, and community and cultural development officers) and students in the realization of artistic and historical vignettes. The schools that participated in the project are Centre d’apprentissage du Haut-Madawaska and École communautaire de Saint-Joseph.

Productions Rouj

Key roles of Productions Rouj: Design two models of the Graphical User Interface (GUI) for the Website depending on the targeted clientele and other items for the Website; develop promotional materials (marketing tools) and arrange for printing when necessary.
