Maple Sugaring-Off Time (Le temps des sucres)

Summary: Students, accompanied by a local artist named Jules Landry, created this mural during the winter of 2009. Students conducted research with residents of the community to find out what a sugar bush looked like, and how people of their grandparents’ generation collected maple sap. Then, they sketched their mural on the cafeteria wall and painted it during a school holiday.
